Milan International Olive Oil Award 2020

At the Oil & Catering Forum held on Monday 11th October at Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan, the Santagata 1907 company won the Bicchiere D’Oro award at the Milan International Olive Oil Awards 2020 in the light fruity oils category with its 100% Italian.

This is an international competition open to all olive producers, olive oil manifacturesrs and oil trading companies around the world, the brainchild of oleologist Luigi Caricato, founder of the publishing and cultural project Olio Officina.

MIOOA aims to promote quality production and increase the perception of quality among consumers and various professional operators, whether they are buyers, restaurateurs, chefs or users of the product.

The oils were carefully selected by professional tasters from ONAOO (Organizzazione Nazionale Assaggiatori Olio di Oliva) and tasted and judged by Horeca operators, journalists and consumers.
